Holt Released

The Vikings have released veteran WR Glenn Holt today. Holt signed a one-year deal this off-season mainly to be the team's KR. That was before the team drafted Percy Harvin and youngsters Jaymar Johnson and Darius Reynaud emerged. The early release gives Holt a chance to latch on with another team before the season. The roster currently stands at 79 players and will need to be down to 75 the day after Monday Night Football against the Texans.
